Nia Sharma Talks About Being Out Of Work Long Ago, “I Hadn’t Earned A Single Penny”

The Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai actor made some startling revelations about her financial status recently. Nia revealed that there was a time when she was out of work and didn't have a single penny.

Nia Sharma shared all this on radio host Siddharth Kannan's show. The Jamai Raja actor said, "When I came to this industry, I was all by myself. I was fresh from EkHazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, which was the show that made me. Uskebaadpooraeksaal ka gap tha (After that, there was a gap of a year)."

"So after EkHazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai till Jamai Raja, there was a nine-month gap. I was all alone in Mumbai. I had no friends because obviously, I was new. I stayed in my shell. I worked on myself, I started learning belly dancing. Woh jo 9 mahineguzargaye and I realised ki koi kaamnahitha, kuchnahitha, not a single penny I had earned, no friends… I think wohek period tha jo mujhedobaranahijeenatha (I never want to relive those nine months, when I had no work, no friends and did not earn a single penny)," added Sharma.

Well, times have now changed for Nia Sharma as she is one of the biggest female actors in the TV industry.
