NIA files second charge sheet against 3 Bangladeshi terrorists, alleges of inciting Muslim youth
The NIA said that investigation has revealed that the accused Hamidullah alias Mufkir alias Raju Ghazi alias Chamed Ali Miya, Mohd. Shahadat Hussain alias Abidullah alias Hafizul Haq alias Obaidullah and Talha Talukdar Farooq were active cadres of Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a second supplementary chargesheet against three suspected Bangladeshi terrorists of Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen who have been accused of entering India to "carry out further violent terrorist activities" of the banned outfit. Officials gave this information on Thursday. He said the agency had taken over the investigation on April 5, 2022, after 10 illegal immigrants were arrested by the Madhya Pradesh Police STF in March last year. The NIA said that investigation has revealed that the accused Hamidullah alias Mufkir alias Raju Ghazi alias Chamed Ali Miya, Mohd. Shahadat Hussain alias Abidullah alias Hafizul Haq alias Obaidullah and Talha Talukdar Farooq were active cadres of Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).
According to the agency, the accused had entered India illegally with a conspiracy to influence, radicalize and inspire Indian Muslims to prepare for violent Jihad.
According to a statement issued by the NIA, in its chargesheet filed before a special court in Bhopal, the agency said the accused instigated impressionable Muslim youth to launch a violent jihad to establish Islamic (Sharia) law in India.
The agency filed a chargesheet against the accused under sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for criminal conspiracy, forgery and other offences. It has also filed charges under the Foreigners Act and the Passport (Entry into India) Act, 1920, apart from stringent provisions of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.
