The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has almost finalized the schedule of season 15 of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The board has not yet officially announced the date, but all the franchises have been told that the first match can be played on April 2. It is also certain that the winner of season-14 will play Chennai Super Kings in the first match.

BCCI has already announced that this time the entire season of IPL will be played in the country itself. Due to Corona, the second phase of IPL-14 was played in UAE.

The website Cricbuzz said that the final match can be played on June 4 or 5.This time 10 teams will land instead of 8 in IPL.With the addition of 2 new teams, the number of matches has increased. Now there will be 74 matches instead of 60. All the teams will have to play 14-14 matches as before. 7 matches at home and 7 matches outside the house.

The auction for the next season will be held in December. Dates not yet decided. Two new teams are joining in the form of Lucknow and Ahmedabad. RP Sanjeev Goenka Group has bought the team from Lucknow for Rs 7,090 crore. At the same time, CVC Capital has bought the team of Ahmedabad for Rs 5200 crore. BCCI has earned 12 thousand crores from both the teams, which is much more than expected.

BCCI secretary Jay Shah has already announced that the next season will be played in India. After Chennai won the 14th season, Shah said, "I know you all want to see Chennai Super Kings play in Chepauk, so let me tell you that this opportunity is not too far away.
