The 26th meeting of the Consultation and Coordination System (WMCC) on border matters between India and China was held on Wednesday. In this meeting, it was agreed to hold a meeting of senior military commanders soon on the issue of withdrawal of forces from the remaining points of eastern Ladakh. In this meeting, both sides reviewed the situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the western sector in the India-China border areas and discussed in an open and constructive manner the proposals for disengagement from the rest of the areas so that peace and stability along the LAC is restored. possible and progress can be made in bilateral relations between the two countries.
In accordance with existing bilateral agreements and protocols, both India and China agreed to hold the meeting of senior military commanders at the earliest.
