New variant reached in 14 states/UTs of the country in 20 days, 11 new patients found in Maharashtra

The cases of Omicron infection in the country have crossed 200. By Tuesday evening, this number has increased to 216. The most affected states include Delhi and Maharashtra. 11 new cases of Omicron have been found in Maharashtra. So far, a total of 65 patients have been infected with this variant in the state. It has 54 cases in Delhi. The matter of danger is that the first 100 cases were found in the country in 15 days, but it took only 5 days to get 100 to 200 cases.

In Jammu also three Omicron infected have been found. Their samples were taken on 30 November. The National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed that he has been infected with Omicron. Orders have been given for RTPCR investigation of the people of the entire locality where the three people live.

The first two cases of Omicron in the country were found in Karnataka on 2 December. The cases increased to 50 on December 14. The number of cases rose to 100 on December 17. It took only 5 days to have the next 100 cases. Cases of Omicron have been reported in 13 states of the country. About Omicron, scientists around the world say that its infection rate is very high.
