New doors of employment will open for Indian youth in ten countries
The Center is constantly emphasizing on skill development of youth for employment. In order to take these efforts to the next stage, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has also set eyes on employment missions in other countries other than India.

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Commerce and Industry have expedited work on a roadmap to provide new employment opportunities to India's skilled workers in ten countries. Based on the report of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), the embassies of the 10 identified countries have been activated and asked to study their sector-wise skill demand. On the basis of this, training and skill development will be done for Indian youth.

Recently, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship along with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry organized a Virtual Global Skills Summit. In this, referring to the NSDC report, it was told that 54 percent of the population in India is above 25 years of age and the average age is 28.7 years. There is more scope for employment globally for this population.
