Netflix salutes the legacy of 'Romance King', releases trailer of 'The Romantics'

Netflix on Wednesday released the trailer for its four-part docu-series The Romantics. The series is said to be a celebration of the films of filmmaker Yash Chopra and his production house Yash Raj Films. Directed by Smriti Mundra, who has received nominations at the Oscars and Emmy Awards, the series will stream on Netflix on February 14, on the occasion of Valentine's Day. The documentary will celebrate Yash Raj Films' romantic films.

The trailer begins with Salim Khan and Ranbir Kapoor expressing their hatred towards the word "Bollywood". It will feature a star cast like Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Madhuri Dixit, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana among others who made their career working with Yash Raj Films production. The Romantics will release on February 14 as a tribute to Yash Chopra, considered the "father of romance" in India.
