Neighbour fails to prove claim that Rhea met Sushant a day before his death
Rhea's lawyer Satish Maneshinde has said in a statement that he would request CBI to take legal proceedings against them for misleading the investigations.

Rhea Chakraborty's Neighbour had earlier accused the actress of meeting Sushant Singh Rajput just a day before his death. She had said in a television interview That she saw Sushant dropping Rhea at home on June 13. According to reports, the woman is now unable to prove her claim before the Central Bureau of Investigation.
Reports also say that the lady has apparently admitted to CBI that she didn't see them together on June 13.
Rhea's lawyer Satish Maneshinde has said in a statement that he would request CBI to take legal proceedings against them for misleading the investigations.
"We will be forwarding a list of people to CBI who made fake and false claims on TV and Electronic Media including carrying mobile recording and fake stories on SSR case with particular reference to Rhea Chakraborty to go after them and record their statements," Maneshinde said.
Mumbai police, which conducted the initial investigation, had said that Sushant committed suicide but many theories were floated around which suspected that he was allegedly murdered.
Incidentally, the forensic team of All India Institute of Medical Sciences has also confirmed that it was a suicide.
Bombay High Court released Rhea on bail on October 7. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) of Mumbai had arrested her on September 9. The NCB alleged that Rhea procured drugs for actor Sushant Singh Rajput who allegedly committed suicide on June 14 by hanging from the ceiling fan at his home in Bandra.
The NCB alleges that since Rhea paid for the drugs from her credit cards to supply it to Sushant, it amounts to financing the drug. As per the law, financing narcotics is a more serious offence than merely consuming it.
