The Supreme Court had said in its order that the counseling should be allowed to proceed according to the prescribed procedure of existing 27 percent OBC and 10 percent EWS (Economically Weaker Section) reservation.
Earlier this counseling was to start from October 25. But the process was stalled after the Supreme Court raised concerns over the government's decision to fix the annual income limit at Rs 8 lakh to avail the EWS quota.
