NEET-PG 2022 Counseling date released, process is starting from September 1

NEET-PG 2022 counseling date has been released. According to the information given by official sources on Saturday, the counseling for NEET-PG 2022 will start from September 1. Students who qualify the NEET-PG 2022 exam will be able to fill their choices with regard to the syllabus and colleges during the counseling process for admission to All India Quota seats, State Medical and Dental Colleges and Central and Deemed Universities.

Giving information about this, the officials said that the counseling of NEET-PG 2022 will start simultaneously for 50 percent seats of all Central Universities, Deemed Universities and All India Quota and 50 percent seats of State Quota of Medical and Dental Colleges. He informed that the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health will conduct the counseling in online mode.

According to officials, keeping in mind that 748 seats are still vacant in NEET Superspeciality Counseling (NEET SS Counseling) for the academic year 2021, the government has decided to prevent wastage of seats and without any cut-off in the wider public interest. It has been decided to conduct a special round of counseling for off percentile eligibility. He clarified that this step has been taken only once.

Officials said that the special mop-up round 2 for counseling in NEET SS 2021 will start from Tuesday i.e. July 26.
