Nawazuddin Siddiqui, known for his powerful performances on shows like Sacred Games, has left digital platforms. In an Interview, the actor told us that the OTT platforms has become a dhandha (Racket) for big production houses.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who was recently appointed within the Best Actor category at the International emmy Awards for his role in Netflix' Serious Men, has quit OTT platforms. In associate interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actor disclosed the same and said, “The platform has become a marketing ground for redundant shows. we have a tendency to either have shows that don’t deserve to be seen in the initial place. Or sequels to shows that don't have anything a lot of to say.”

Nawazuddin further talked regarding why he determined to not work for the shows on digital platforms and what modified post he asterisked in Netflix’s Sacred Games. “When I did Sacred Games for Netflix, there was associate excitement and challenge round the digital medium. New talent was being given an opportunity currently that freshness is gone,” aforesaid the actor. He added, “It’s become dhanda (racket) for giant production homes and actors who are now supposed stars on the OTT platform. Major film producers in Bollywood have cut moneymaking deals with all the large players within the OTT field. Producers get large amounts to make unlimited content. quantity has killed quality.
