Naseeruddin Shah is celebrating his 72nd birthday today

Today is July 20, the birthday of actor Naseeruddin Shah, who started his career with the film Nishant. The veteran actor will celebrate his 72nd birthday today. Naseeruddin was born in a Nawab family in Barabanki. His father was a big officer in the government department and he also wanted to make Shah a government officer or a doctor, but Shah was interested in acting and for this he also learned acting from Delhi's National School of Drama.

Naseeruddin Shah won the Filmfare Best Actor Award for the film Masoom (1984), the Filmfare Best Actor Award for the film Chakra in (1982) and the Filmfare Best Actor Award for Aakros in (1981).

Naseeruddin Shah has also been honored with Padma Shri in 1987 and Padma Bhushan in 2003. He received the National Award for Best Actor for the film 'Sparsh' in (1979) and the film 'Par' in (1984). (2006) Naseeruddin Shah received the National Award for Best Actor for the film 'Iqbal'. He was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for the film 'Aakrosh' in (1981), 'Chakra' in (1982) and 'Masoom' in (1984).
