Nagarjuna Played Cupid in Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s Love Story: Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala haven’t shared much about their love life; they got engaged in august and are set to have their wedding on the 4th of December at Annapurna Studios. Talking to TOI, Nagarjuna revealed how he became a guinea pig for her love while professing his affection for Sobhita.

Nagarjuna explained that he ached for Sobhita’s role in the Goodachari movie of 2018 and straightaway called her to inform her of his appreciation. “I invited her to meet me the next time she was in Hyderabad. She later came home to meet me, and we had some wonderful conversations — not just about films but life in general. Chaitanya happened to walk in during one of her visits, and that’s when they met for the first time if I remember correctly,” recalled the actor.

He also explained that he looked up to his almost daughter-in-law, the way she had toiled to become what she is today.

‘Whenever I look at her along with Chaitanya, I can see the kind of bond they share, and it makes me very happy’ – Nagarjuna also said.

Chaitanya and Sobhita are set to tie the knot on December 4th at the latter’s family owned property, Annapurna Studios. It will be a private event with only family and a handful of close friends attending. Only two families, the Akkineni and the Daggubatis along with Sobhita’s family members will be present. The wedding is going to be a typical south Indian wedding; Telugu traditions will be in place and the bride-to-be will indulge in wearing traditional Andhra weaves.

Chaitanya was earlier in a marriage with Samantha Ruth Prabhu and together they had an extravagant wedding in Goa for two days in 2017. They divorced after two years in 2021. Before Chaitanya and Sobhita got engaged to one another, they were in a two-year relationship.
