Rohit Kumar, a man from Mellahalli village in Mandya district, said he composed and released a song praising PM Modi on his YouTube channel and shared it with an acquaintance.

Mysuru Man Claims Attack Over Song on PM Modi: A young man from Karnataka's Mysuru area has raised allegations that he was beaten because he wrote a song on PM Modi praising him, although the police still have to confirm it.
Rohit Kumar, a man from Mellahalli village in Mandya district, said he composed and released a song praising PM Modi on his YouTube channel and shared it with an acquaintance.
In his statement, Rohit Kumar said, "I was sharing my channel link and asking all to subscribe. One of the guys came out near the government guest house. I didn't know he was a Muslim. I asked him to watch the song and asked him to share it and subscribe to my channel."
Rohit further added, "He watched it and said it was nice. He said he would take me inside to meet his friends so that this could be shared. As soon as I entered the room, a guy closed my mouth and held my hands from behind. He started abusing me for making this song on PM Modi."

Rohit Kumar also claimed that the group of men beat him badly, abused him, urinated over him and they also forced him to shout 'Pakistan Zindabad'.
After the attack, the cops intervened and brought Rohit to the hospital.
Police in Mysuru, however, stated that they were investigating Rohit's allegations and would provide more information on the development shortly.
The police stated that they were looking through the guest house's CCTV footage and conducting more investigation.
