Must-Watch Underrated Abhishek Bachchan Films Before Kaalidhar Laapata Drops on OTT

Talent Abhishek Bachchan Who has been underutilised is in the news again. This time with the release of the new drama ZEE5, kaalidhar Laapata, will be released on July 4, 2025. You may also watch this interesting film on OTTplay Premium. And just because we are going to time travel to his recent escapades, we might as well make a (delightful) detour and look at some of his available to watch, under-rated (to be very underrated) classics like Ghoomer and Bob Biswas on OTT. You may simply find your next favorite AB performance.

Uderrated films on OTT of Abhishek Bachchan

Ghoomer

The movie is about the fictional life of Anina, an up-and-coming player in the cricket sport, who has a life-changing incident that takes away her right hand right before her international debut on the lap of the sport. However, assisted by a former cricketer Padam Singh (Abhishek Bachchan) who did not succeed in his own career, she discovers that she somewhere has a second chance. Joining forces, they develop a distinctive training strategy, and Anina transforms herself into the bowler in the Indian cricket team.

Bob Biswas

Having come out of a state of coma, Bob Biswas (portrayed by Abishek Bachchan), a once talented assassin, discovers that he has lost all his memory and identity. As the pieces of forgotten memories come back by degrees, he is taken aback by the atrocious reality of his past existence and the ethical consequences of his deeds.

Manmarziyaan

This romance between Rumi and Vicky takes a blow when the family of Rumi gets to know about their relationship. And they are anxious that Rumi should get married as quick as possible. However, Vicky is very reluctant to make a commitment and it puts Rumi in difficult position. Failure of her parents to fix her marriage engulfs them into using a marriage broker who arranges a date with a potential husband, Robbie (Abhishek Bachchan), in the attempt to settle Rumi.

It is a Hindi remake of Tamil film of the same name by R Madhavan and traces the life of Jhanvi (Shilpa Shetty) and Siddharth (Abishek Bachchan) who love each other. However, their relationship does not last long because their brother (Jhanvi), Ganpat is a gangster. Being compelled by the urge to save the face of his family, Ganpat turns vengeful and decides to kill Siddharth endangering the lives of the two lovers.

Notorious terrorist Jamwaal plans a fatal strike when the Prime Minister of India is going to visit Canada. In reaction to the threat, a top team of special spy agents of India is sent to Canada on a mission to pursue Jamwaal to deter a possible disaster and safe guard the Prime minister.
