Mumbai University UG Admission 2024 Registration Begins, Steps to Apply

The last date to apply for admission at the University of Mumbai (UG) is June 15. According to the college reports, over 1 lakh students complete their graduation degree every year from the University of Mumbai (UG).

Mumbai University UG Admission 2024 Registration Begins

Mumbai University UG Admission 2024: The application process for admission into the undergraduate courses at the University of Mumbai (UG) has been available on the official website.

Candidates who wish to complete their undergraduate degree at the University of Mumbai (UG) can visit the official website of Mumbai University, mum.digitaluniversity.ac as the application forms are available there.

But before filling the the admission form, you must first check the eligibility criteria of the particular course you want to pursue, or the college community will reject your admission form if you don’t fit in the criteria.

The last date to apply for admission at the University of Mumbai (UG) is June 15.

According to the college reports, over 1 lakh students complete their graduation degree every year from the University of Mumbai (UG).

However, more details about the admission process will be available soon from the Mumbai University on its official site.

Eligibility Criteria for BA and BSC Candidates

If you want to apply for the BA programs, you need to have passed Class 12 from a recognized board and with at least a certain number of marks.

Students who want to apply for the BSC programs must have completed Class 12 in a science stream it doesn’t matter whether it is a medical or not.

MSC Candidates

Candidates for admission to masters must have finished BSc with at least 50% overall marks.

How to Apply for Admission to the University of Mumbai?

To register yourself for university admission, you need to follow the steps below:

  • You need to visit the official website of UG, mum.digitaluniversity.ac
  • When you are on the site, you will find the ‘Admission for AY2024-25’ link on top of the homepage.
  • Click on the link, then you be directed to another page.
  • There you have to click on the ‘Online Application for First Year UG Fresher Students (AY 2024-25)’ link.
  • After clicking, give all the personal details that are required for the registration.
  • Click on proceed and you will be done with your registration.

The university's first PG rank list will be made public on June 26 and candidates whose names are there in the first merit list need to submit their payment before 1st July.

On July 2, the second list will be made public and the payment should be done before July 5.

However, the college's new session begins on July 1.
