Mukesh Ambani to Build World’s Largest AI-Driven Data Centre in Jamnagar | Details
Reports state that Reliance is injecting AI technologies by acquiring the world's advanced semiconductors from a leading AI technology developer NVIDIA.

World’s Largest AI-Driven Data Centre in Jamnagar: Bloomberg reported that Mukesh Ambani, the chairperson of Reliance Industries, is going to build one of the largest data centres in Jamnagar, a district in Gujarat. This ambitious venture is intended to give a boost to India's growing AI capabilities by a huge margin.
The centre will enable the building of a digital infrastructure in the country, at the same time allowing India to compete globally for AI.

NVIDIA to provide Reliance's data centre with processors
As part of this initiative, Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance has also planned to invest in AI technologies, reportedly by acquiring advanced semiconductors from NVIDIA, a leading AI technology company.
In October 2024, at the NVIDIA AI Summit, Reliance and NVIDIA announced their partnership to build AI infrastructure in India.
Under this partnership, NVIDIA will provide Reliance with its cutting-edge Blackwell AI processors for its one-gigawatt data centre.
In the meeting, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang had told Mukesh Ambani that he believes that "India should manufacture its own AI."
In response, Mukesh Ambani said that India had great potential in AI and digital technology and added that "India, apart from the US and China, has the best digital connectivity infrastructure; no one else can do that in the world."

Reliance will build a Worlf's Largest Data Centre at Jamnagar, which is among the biggest steps in India's digital transformation.
It will be the World's Largest Data Centre, with a one-gigawatt planned capacity.
NVIDIA is expected to provide its state-of-the-art Blackwell AI processors for Reliance's one-gigawatt data centre.
Apart from this, the centre is aligned with the government's bigger objective of building digital and AI capacity with ample investments in place.

Reliance Industries net profit soars 12%
Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) on Thursday declared its quarter-three results: the year-on-year profits increased by 12 percent to ₹21,930 crore in consolidated net profit for the quarter ending December 31, according to the financial statement.
RIL's strong performance in financials for the third quarter was primarily due to growth coming from the company's digital services, retail, and oils-to-chemicals businesses.
