Mukesh Ambani: Threatened Mukesh Ambani's family, person arrested from Bihar

The man who threatened to blow up the hospital of Reliance Foundation in Mumbai and kill the members of the Ambani family has been arrested from Bihar. Mumbai Police has detained a person from Darbhanga, Bihar for threatening to kill businessman Mukesh Ambani and his family. An official gave this information on Thursday.

A police team caught a suspect from Darbhanga district on Wednesday midnight and brought him to Mumbai. On Wednesday, an unidentified person called twice at the Sir HN Reliance Foundation hospital in south Mumbai and threatened to blow up the hospital and industrialist Mukesh Ambani's house 'Antilia' with a bomb, officials said. He told that the caller had also threatened to kill Mukesh Ambani and his family members.

This threatening phone call was given on the landline number of the hospital, after which there was an atmosphere of panic. Mumbai Police has started investigation by registering a case in this matter. Police officials said that the threatening phone call came from an unknown number at 12:57 am. The person making threats also made threats in the name of Ambani family. According to officials, a case was registered at DB Marg police station and further investigation is on.

In August this year, a jeweler was arrested after calling a hospital and threatening to kill businessman Mukesh Ambani and his family members. In February 2021, a sports utility vehicle (SUV) laden with explosives was found near Ambani's South Mumbai residence 'Antilia'. Later some people, including the then police officer Sachin Waje, were arrested in connection with the incident.
