Mukesh Ambani and his son visited Somnath Mahadev, donated Rs 1.51 crore to the temple

Reliance Industries Limited chief Mukesh Ambani visited Mahadev at Somnath temple on the occasion of Mahashivratri on Saturday. He was accompanied by the head of Reliance Jio and his son Akash Ambani. Mukesh Ambani donated Rs 1.51 crore to the Somnath Temple Trust.

He was welcomed by Somnath Temple Trust President PK Lahiri and Secretary Yogendrabhai Desai. Mukesh Ambani and Akash Ambani performed the anointing of Mahadev. After the puja, the priest of the temple presented him with a stole.

The Ambani family strongly believes in traditions and celebrates all Hindu festivals with great enthusiasm. After the puja, Akash Ambani was garlanded with a Rudraksh garland by the priest as a blessing of Lord Shankar. At the same time, the picture of Sarnath Jyotirlinga was given to Mukesh Ambani and his son Akash on behalf of the temple committee. Mostly silver utensils were used for this special worship ritual.
