MoS Home Ajay Mishra misbehaves with a journalist for asking questions about his jailed son
Mishra was inaugurating an oxygen plant in his constituency in Lakhimpur Kheri when he was approached by a journalist

Minister of State for Home, Ajay Mishra was spotted in a video where he can be heard misbehaving with a journalist for asking questions about Ashish Mishra, who is in jail.
Mishra was inaugurating an oxygen plant in his constituency in Lakhimpur Kheri when he was approached by a journalist and asked about the recent report of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) which recommends charges of planned conspiracy against Mishra’s son.
After hearing the question from the journalist, Mishra got infuriated and pounced at the journalist. He was seen in the video trying to snatch the journalist’s mike and using expletives for him.
It looks like the Ministry lost his cool as he seems to be under extreme pressure after the SIT report. The opposition parties are also putting pressure on the Modi government for his sacking as MoS.
On October 3, 2021, when thousands of farmers were returning home after a protest, Ashish Mishra along with other BJP workers, drove a convoy of three vehicles over the protesting farmers. Four farmers, one journalist and three BJP workers lost their lives in the whole incident.
Mishra had initially maintained that his son was not on the spot but the SIT, in its report, has confirmed that Ashish Mishra drove one of the vehicles, the SUV, that crushed the farmers under its wheels and killed them. The SIT has called it a planned conspiracy to kill the protesting farmers.
Mishra’s misbehaviour with the journalist has once again put the Modi government under pressure to take action against the minister.
