More than 92% of the country's teachers have been vaccinated. In central government institutions, over 96% of teaching staff have been vaccinated.

He also looked at the state of immunization in the skills ecosystem. Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Skills Development and Entrepreneurship and Shri Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, Minister of Education, were also present at the meeting.

Shri Pradhan has been frequently watching the vaccination of teaching employees and non teaching staff to confirm enabling surroundings for colleges to maneuver towards reopening. He stressed upon the necessity to revive normalcy and tone within the instructional establishments in wake of speedy vaccination at scale happening in the country.

As on date, a majority of states have already opened the colleges for all the classes. Over 92% of teaching workers are vaccinated. within the establishments beneath Central Government, over ninety six percent of teaching staff have been vaccinated.
