Morbi bridge accident: The crackdown on Oreva Group MD Jaisukh Patel begins

In the case of Morbi suspension bridge collapse, the clampdown has started on Jaysukh Patel, MD of Oreva Group. The Gujarat court has sent him to police custody for 7 days. Significantly, Jaisukh Patel, who was made an accused in the Morbi bridge accident case, surrendered in the Morbi court. A 1,262-page charge sheet was filed in this case. The name of Jaysukh Patel of Oreva Group was included as an accused in the charge sheet.

10 people were made accused in the charge sheet filed by the police in the court. Out of which 9 people had already been arrested, but the director of Oreva Group was absconding. The police have arrested manager Deepak Parekh, Dinesh Dave, three security guards, two ticket clerks and as many private contract workers and are in judicial custody.
