Moosewala murder mastermind in custody: Goldie Brar detained in California, FBI talks to Indian agencies

Goldy Brar, the mastermind behind the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala, has been taken into custody in California, USA. According to sources, Goldie was detained on or before 20 November. However, so far the California Police have not formally given any statement about it.

According to media reports, the US investigative agency FBI has talked to Indian agencies. It is being told that Goldie can be sent to India.

The information has reached the Indian intelligence agencies. After which they have been contacting American agencies. A red corner notice has already been issued against Goldy Brar in 2 old cases, who had fled to California for political asylum a few days earlier from Canada.

Brar was living in Canada at the time of Musewala's murder. After Singer's murder, Goldie came under target of Indian intelligence agencies and fans of Musewala. He was afraid that someone might reveal his whereabouts. Because of this, he fled from Canada to Fresno City, California, USA some time ago. Going there, he also tried to get political asylum with the help of two lawyers.
