Monkeypox : Monkeypox cases increasing in Kerala

Cases of monkeypox are increasing worldwide. Meanwhile, in India, the third case of monkeypox has been reported in Kerala. The 35-year-old had returned from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in early July. Monkeypox infection has been confirmed in this young man. Kerala Health Minister Veena George said that the youth, a resident of Malappuram, had returned to his home state on July 6. He is undergoing treatment at Manjeri Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. According to George, the condition of the young man is stable. He said that people who have been in contact with the infected are being closely monitored.

75 countries of the world have come under the JD of Monkeypox, India is also included in this. The highest number of cases of this terrible virus have been registered in America and Canada whereas in India also two cases of this virus have been reported so far. The first case of monkeypox in India was reported on 14 July. Symptoms of this virus were seen in a person who came to India from abroad, later when his sample was sent for examination, the traveler was found infected with monkeypox. 

Globally, there have been more than 14,000 cases of monkeypox worldwide. While the death toll from it has reached 5. India too has now come under the grip of monkeypox. Here is the third case of Kerala. Experts from all over the world are telling that if this disease spreads rapidly like the corona virus, then its consequences can be worse than the Kovid epidemic. The World Health Organization, which was not declaring monkeypox as a pandemic earlier, has also declared it a pandemic in view of its rapidly increasing infection.
