‘Mitti Mein Mila Diya’: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday took aim at RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav during a public rally in Karakat, Bihar, saying that the state was once plagued by “jungle raaj” where the rights of the poor were trampled and land was snatched from the powerless.
“Earlier, people’s land was taken away. The poor were stripped of their rights. Jungle raaj had made life unbearable in Bihar,” said Modi, invoking memories of Lalu Prasad's tenure to contrast it with the NDA government’s focus on law and order and infrastructure.
"A terrorist attack took place in Pahalgam, and our innocent citizens were killed. I came to Bihar after that and promised the country that terrorist camps would be destroyed. I said that they will get punished beyond their imagination. I have come to Bihar today after fulfilling my promise,” Modi said.

“The Pakistani Army, under whose protection terrorists used to feel safe in their bunkers, our forces brought them to their knees in a single strike. Pakistan's air bases and their terror launchpads were destroyed within minutes. This is New India. This is the power of New India,” the Prime Minister said.
Recalling his visit to Bihar a day after the Pahalgam attack, the Prime Minister said he had promised that the hideouts of the terrorists would be reduced to dust. “Just a day after the attack, I came to Bihar and made a promise to the nation from the soil of Bihar. I had said, looking the nation in the eye, that the hideouts of the terrorists would be reduced to dust. From this very land, I had vowed that they would face a punishment beyond their imagination. Today, as I return to Bihar, I come having fulfilled that promise,” he said.

The Prime Minister also warned that the fight against terrorism will not stop and the country will give a strong response if any such thing happens in the future. "India's fight against terrorism has neither stopped nor halted. If the hood of terror rises again, India will crush it by pulling it out of its hole," Modi stated.
In the aftermath of Operation Sindoor, Pakistan initiated a series of retaliatory drone and UCAV attacks targeting key Indian airbases and logistics infrastructure. These attempts, however, were effectively neutralised by India's comprehensive and multi-layered air defence architecture.
