Ministry of External Affairs issues advisory to Indians in Canada Over Increasing Hate Crimes
The Ministry of External Affairs has issued an advisory for Indian nationals in Canada in the wake of a "sharp increase in incidents of hate crimes, sectarian violence and anti-India activities in Canada".

The Ministry of External Affairs issues an advisory cautioning Indian nationals in Canada over the threat of hate crimes, sectarian violence & anti-India activities, days after a so-called “Khalistan referendum” in Ontario.
The Advisory said, "There has been a sharp increase in incidents of hate crimes, sectarian violence, and anti-India activities in Canada. MEA and our High Commission/Consulates General in #Canada have taken up these incidents with Canadian authorities and requested a probe."
It further read, "Indian nationals & students from India in Canada & those proceeding to Canada for travel/ education are advised to exercise due caution & remain vigilant.
