Minister reached Delhi, increased pressure after SIT report; Rahul again sought resignation in the House

Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni, who misbehaved with the media after the SIT report in Lakhimpur violence case, has been summoned by the BJP high command to Delhi. They have reached Delhi late last night. Today he will appear before the high command. It is being told that the high command is angry with his bad temper. On the other hand, the name of Teni's son as a conspirator in the Lakhimpur farmer violence has brought disrepute to the party. There is resentment within the party about the minister's behaviour.
The proceedings of the Lok Sabha over the sacking of the minister remained uproar on Thursday after Wednesday. The entire opposition has mobilized and has demanded the resignation of Union Minister Ajay Mishra alias Teni. Due to the uproar, the House had to be adjourned till noon. Rahul Gandhi and several MPs have demanded Teni's resignation while giving notice in Lok Sabha for debate on Lakhimpur violence case. The Speaker, however, dismissed all the notices. When Rahul started speaking on the Kheri violence case during Question Hour, Chairman Om Birla suggested the format of Question Hour.
In fact, in Lakhimpur Kheri on Wednesday, Minister Ajay Mishra was furious on the question asked about the increased sections after the SIT investigation report on son Ashish. He started abusing and pushing a journalist. The minister's behavior was widely criticized on social media. On this, the BJP high command had summoned Ajay Mishra to Delhi.
