Union Minister Piyush Goyal said on Saturday that the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) signed between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will not only strengthen bilateral trade ties but also boost exports.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal said on Saturday that the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) signed between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will not only strengthen bilateral trade ties but also boost exports. He said that 'this agreement will generate 10 lakh job opportunities in India'. India and the United Arab Emirates on Friday signed a trade deal after ending talks in less than 88 days.
The Commerce and Industry Minister told reporters, “CEPA will be extremely beneficial for micro, small and medium industries, startups, farmers, traders and various businesses and will create employment for many people.
This agreement (CEPA) will provide access to the market for both goods and services and will create jobs for our youth. It will open up new markets for our startups, make our business system more competitive and boost our economy.”
