This hike will come into effect from Tuesday. Milk prices have been increased for the fifth time this year by Mother Dairy. The company supplies more than 30 lakh liters of milk in Delhi-NCR.
Mother Dairy has increased the price of full cream milk by Rs 2 to Rs 66 per litre, while the price of toned milk has been revised from Rs 51 per liter to Rs 53 per litre. The price of double toned milk has been increased from Rs 45 per liter to Rs 47 per litre. Mother Dairy has decided not to increase the prices of all variants of Cow Milk and Token (Bulk Vended) Milk.
In a statement issued by the company, it was said that this year has been very difficult for the entire dairy industry. During this, there has been an increase in the demand for milk and milk products. On the other hand, there has been no increase in milk procurement after Diwali as expected. At the same time, the procurement prices of raw milk have increased by about 24 percent as compared to last year.
