“Metro In Dino” Starring Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur to Release on July 4, 2025

Metro In Dino: Finally, in a series of delay saga, Metro...In Dino has just fixed a date for release. Previously, Cinema-goers awaited the movie to come onto their screens in March 2024. The makers have now announced the date and have rekindled anticipation among fans for their product.

Filmmaker Anurag Basu's anthology starring names such as Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan titled Metro… In Dino has been locked for a July 4 release. Along with the lead stars, the movie also features, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Metro…In Dino is a sequel to the 2007 movie titled Life In Metropolises.

The makers of the film made the announcement through their Instagram account, with the announcement concerning the film released. The caption along with the post read, “When love, fate and city life collide magic is bound to happen! #Metro… इन दिनों brings the stories of heart from the cities that you love! Experience it on #July4th in cinemas near you."

Originally, Metro...In Dino was scheduled to release theatrically on March 29 of this year. It was then postponed once again for September and finally postponed to November 29. Metro...In Dino marks the second collaboration between Aditya and Basu. Their first film together was Ludo.

The title of the movie is borrowed from the song In Dino from Life in a...Metro. Metro..In Dino is a presentation by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series in association with Anurag Basu Productions Pvt Ltd. According to media reports, the delay has been attributed to director Anurag Basu not being satisfied with the creative work of the film. A source related to the movie production told Mid-day that the director Anurag Basu is unhappy with the final result of the movie. He refrained from reshoots of certain scenes due to the 'dissatisfaction' regarding that project. So, it was also reported that Basu has delayed the commencement of his next with Kartik Aaryan. As such, going to be borne by Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 for the shooting part during his now free dates.
