The insiders are speaking about a few notable celebrities, named calmly-King, Miranda Kerr, and Chloë Sevigny. The music industry darling Clairo is expected to sprinkle some extra magic on the evening, and although it has not been set in stone, the fabulous Emma Chamberlain is still floating on the guest list.

At the Metropolitan Museum of Art, A-listers Nicole Kidman and Zoë Saldaña are most definitely going to put in a trick or two, with Monica Barbaro, Damson Idris, and Malcolm Washington also set to attend.

Indian Actors at the Met Gala 2025

While it is going to be the first time a Bollywood star step on the stairs of the Met Gala, and that would be Shah Rukh Khan said to be in a Sabyasachi outfit, it is going to be extra special for this year's Indian audiences. An Instagram post from anonymous fashion and pop culture account Diet Sabya states SRK will walk the stairs of the Metropolitan Museum of Art at Met Gala 2025, a first for an Indian male actor.

Adding further to the Indian participation at the prestigious event is mother-to-be Kiara Advani, who is also expected to join the famous Met Gala red carpet walk.

About the Met Gala 2025 theme and date

Indeed, this grand event of fashion will take place in the Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 5. It is usually under wraps until the night itself in terms of who is guest invited. This year's theme is Superfine: Tailoring Black Style and is based on Monica L. Miller's book, Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity, published in 2009. Since 1995, organized and presiding over the Met Gala, Anna Wintour has made it popular to the fashion crowd every year. A fundraiser for The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, it gathers eight figures annually.
