Meghalaya Murder Case: Sonam Raghuvanshi's 'Lover' Seen Consoling Father at Funeral
After the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi in Meghalaya, his wife Sonam and three others including Raj Kushwaha were arrested after being implicated for the crime.

Meghalaya Murder Case: Eye witness have stated that Raj Singh Kushwaha one of the individual accused of involvement in the murder of a Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshiin Meghalaya, had taken people to Raja's funeral in Indore.
With the Meghalaya police arresting Raja Raghuvanshi's spouse Sonam Raghuvanshi a 24 year old woman, and her three alleged co-conspirators Akash Rajput (19), Vishal Singh Chauhan (22) and Raj Singh Kushwaha (21), the case took a turn for the sensational.
According to police in Meghalaya, Sonam Raghuvanshi had hired killers to rid herself of her husband while on honeymoon in Meghalaya only days after being married in Indore.

Raj Kushwaha is alleged to be the boyfriend of Sonam. It was reported that Raj Kushwaha was no more than a grieving friend to Devi Singh Raghuvanshi, when the victim's body was brought home, and Devi was apparently taking grief counseling from him.
While sharing the video on Instagram, Shrasti captioned it, “Raj Kushwaha was seen with Sonam's father at Raja's house.”
Raja's influencer sister, Shrasti Raghuvanshi, who spoke in a video post - updating on developments in the murder case - also shared a video clip that showed Raj Kushwaha, hugging and comforting Sonam's father, Devi Singh Raghuvanshi, while Raja's funeral took place.
Raja's mother, Uma Raghuvanshi, also said witnesses saw Raj among Sonam's father during the wedding. While she didn't overtly accuse her daughter-in-law of the murder, Uma asked where her daughter-in-law was and why did Sonam leave Raja without trying to save him.
In the meantime, Shrasti kept on posting on Instagram until she found what she was looking for, in one emotional video, with hosting a wedding photo of Raja and Sonam, she said, “My brother had vowed to be with Sonam for seven lives, but he couldn't even stay for seven days. What had he done to deserve this?. You could have eloped if you liked someone else. Why kill him?"
At this moment, Sonam's father Devi Singh Raghuvanshi also claimed Raj Kushwaha was being wrongly implicated in his daughter's case, and if he needed to, he would send a legal notice to Meghalaya police.

Raj took people to Raja's funeral in Indore
When Raja's body arrived, Sonam's family, whose home is in Govind Nagar Kharcha area, had arranged four -five vehicles for people to attend the funeral. Raj Kushwaha was driving the four-wheeler in which I went, though we did not talk. Only after seeing his photograph in the media post his arrest, I recollected this episode," Lakshman Singh Rathore told news agency PTI.
Raja was found dead in a gorge near Weisawdong Falls in East Khasi Hills district on June 2, 10 days after the couple went missing. Raja and Sonam, who were married on May 11 in Indore, were on their honeymoon in Meghalaya.
The husband and wife went missing on May 23, just an hour after they checked out of a homestay as they had stayed at the homestay at the distant village of Nongriat, about 20 km from where his body was found.
