Massive fire at coke plant of Tata Steel factory in Jamshedpur took under control
Two contractual employees have suffered minor injuries and one employee has complained of chest pain.

A massive fire broke out in the coke plant of Tata Steel Factory in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. According to the information received, the fire broke out in the plant allegedly due to a battery explosion. Five fire tenders have reached the spot to control the fire. At the same time, 2 laborers are said to be injured in this accident.
Regarding the incident of fire, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren tweeted and informed, “Blast has been received at Tata Steel Plant in Jamshedpur. The district administration, in coordination with the Tata Steel management, is taking action for the speedy treatment of the injured.
According to Tata Steel, the fire at the coke plant in Jamshedpur was caused by an explosion in the battery. Fire tenders immediately reached the spot and the situation has been brought under control.
