Manish Sisodia told in exclusive interview how they will provide employment to 20 lakh people in Delhi

The ruling Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi presented its eighth budget in the Assembly on Saturday. Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Manish Sisodia presented the Green-Budget two years ago, Patriotic Budget was presented last year and this time the Employment Budget has been presented.

The employment situation in the whole country is not good. The situation is similar in Delhi, where only 33 percent of the working population is employed. We want to take it up to 45 per cent. Through the employment budget, the government aims to restart and strengthen economic growth. Through these schemes, the government will encourage the present and future businesses of the 21st century in Delhi.

Compared to Delhi, London employs 51.60 percent of the 9 million people, New York City employs 52.6 percent of the 8.8 million residents, and Singapore employs 67 percent of the 5.5 million-plus people. Suggestions have been taken after meeting with the Market Association to prepare the employment budget. Online suggestions are also being taken from people. A total of about 6500 suggestions were received, on the basis of them this employment budget was prepared.
