Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia made a big statement in the Assembly on Monday regarding 'The Kashmir Files'. He said, 'Through this film, the pain of Kashmiri Pandits should be felt by the people of the country and not sold for crores of rupees. Whatever crores of money earned from this film should be used either for a new welfare scheme or should be given to the foundation working for Kashmiri Pandits.

Sisodia further said, 'I was busy with Delhi's budget that's why I could not watch the film. So I cannot comment on the quality of this film. But it is okay that a film has been made on the pain of Kashmiri Pandits and I believe it should be seen by everyone. The pain of Kashmiri Pandits should also be felt through this film but their pain should not be sold for crores of rupees.
