Maneka Gandhi Says "Happy To Be In BJP," After Pilibhit Ticket Denial, What Next for Lok Sabha Elections 2024?

Lok Sabha Elections 2024: During her 10-day visit to Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, BJP MP Maneka Gandhi broke silence after Varun Gandhi was denied a ticket from his constituency.
"I am very happy that I am in the BJP. I thank Amit Shah, PM Modi, and Nadda Ji for giving me the ticket. The ticket was announced very late, so there was a dilemma as to where I should fight. From Pilibhit or Sultanpur. I am grateful for the decision the party has taken now," she said.
“I am very happy that I came back to Sultanpur because this place has a history where no MP came back into power again in Sultanpur,” she added.
She was visiting Sultanpur for the first time after being announced as a Lok Sabha candidate.
ANI reported that the BJP leader was welcomed by party leaders and workers at Katka Guptarganj, Tatianagar, Tedhui, Golaghat, Shahganj Square, Dariyapur Tiraha, and Payagipur Square.
Earlier, Varun Gandhi wrote a heartfelt letter to his constituency, stating that he would remain in touch with Uttar Pradesh's Pilibhit until the end of his life.
