Mahua Moitra Reported Response to Inquiry About Her Source of Energy: The audience went frenzy on the internet after a video of MP Mahua went viral, in which the a question was asked by a reporter "What is your source of energy?" Mahua said in reply "eggs" but the audience misheard it as 'S*x' after which she received a lot of hatred from the audience.

It happened during the election campaign in Krishnanagar, West Bengal while she was asked by a local Bengali TV reporter.

Many users shared the video on 'X' and noted their opinion on behalf of Mahua's reply to the question that 'what was her source of energy,' was "sex."

After the video went viral, the interviewer, Tamal Saha, claimed Mahua replied to his question with "Eggs," but the truth is that trolls interpret it as "sex."

Mohammed Zubair, co-founder of Alt News and a fact checker, clarified that it was eggs and not sex as misheard by some audience members.

Reacting to the video, a female journalist noted "What’s your source of energy? Mahua: Sex, I mean is this woman for real?"

Reacting to it @Amit_Thakur_BJP wrote, "OMG. How Many Times a day?"

The Central Bureau of Investigation is investigating Mahua Moitra in the cash-for-question case. Previously, she was expelled on December 8 after the committee panel determined she was guilty in the 'cash-for-question' case.

Later on, she denied the allegations and said that she was being targeted because she raised questions against the Adani group.
