On the 74th death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi tweeted and paid tribute to him. While sharing the photo of Gandhiji's favorite bhajan Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram and glasses, Rahul wrote – A Hindutvawadi shot Gandhiji.

Gandhi was shot by Nathuram Godse on 30 January 1948. That is why this day is also celebrated as Martyr's Day.
On the other hand, the hearing of a defamation case against Rahul is going to start from February 5. The hearing will be held daily till the verdict comes. The suit was filed by Rajesh Kunte, an activist of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, in the Thane district court in 2014. This order related to the case has been given by JV Paliwal, Judge of Civil Court and First Class Judicial Magistrate in Bhiwandi.
