Maharashtra Tussle: Demolition in Kurla MLA's office, granddaughter soot on Shinde's picture

The struggle for power in Maharashtra has now started taking a violent form. On Friday, some people attacked the office of rebel Shiv Sena MLA Mangesh Kundalkar in Kurla. They ransacked the main gate. Their posters and nameplates have been broken.

In Ahmednagar too, the picture of the leader of the rebel MLAs, Eknath Shinde, has been blackened. Here Uddhav supporters raised slogans against Shinde and called him a traitor.

Posters of rebel MLA Dilip Lande have also been torn in Sakinaka area. Lande had reached Guwahati on Thursday itself and extended his support to Shinde. Supporters of the rebel MLAs allege that these people who vandalized are the people of Uddhav Thackeray. Maharashtra Police has issued a high alert across the state after the vandalism incident.

Here, the 2-hour meeting between NCP and Uddhav Thackeray, a key partner of the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance in Matoshree, has ended. It included NCP Chief Sharad Pawar, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, Cabinet Minister Jayant Patil, former Union Ministers Praful Patel, and Sanjay Raut.
