The remaining four MLAs did not attend any of the meetings. One MLA, Nawab Malik, is currently in jail.

In the wake of Ajit Pawar's rebellion, there is a flurry of activity in Maharashtra politics. Today, Sharad Pawar has arrived in Delhi to attend the National Executive Meeting of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and showcase his strength. The meeting is expected to witness the gathering of NCP leaders from across the country.
Meanwhile, Sharad Pawar, the leader of NCP, has reached Delhi for the party's National Executive Meeting, accompanied by his daughter Supriya Sule.
Efforts to Unite Party Leaders
In this meeting, Sharad Pawar hopes to gather all the party chiefs and leaders from the state. He aims to unite the NCP leaders through this meeting. This step by Sharad Pawar can be seen as crucial to prevent the party and its symbol from losing significance.
Removal of Sharad Pawar's Posters
Meanwhile, even before the meeting, NDMC (New Delhi Municipal Council) has removed the posters and hoardings of Sharad Pawar, the president of NCP. The posters were taken down near Maulana Azad Road Circle and Janpath Circle.
Nephew Dominates Uncle
Following the rift in NCP, Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar's factions held separate meetings in the past few days. Both meetings witnessed the presence of several leaders and workers. However, Ajit, the nephew, emerged as the dominant force. Out of the 53 NCP MLAs, 32 attended the meeting of Ajit's faction, while only 16 MLAs were present in Sharad Pawar's meeting.
The remaining four MLAs did not attend any of the meetings. One MLA, Nawab Malik, is currently in jail.
Ajit Pawar Elected as National President
Ajit Pawar has been elected as the National President of the party in the meeting, while Praful Patel will continue as the Executive President. Along with this, Ajit Pawar has also made claims over the party's name and election symbol.
