The debate over Halal and Jhatka meat has intensified in Maharashtra. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has opposed halal meat and linked it to terror funding. MNS also says that due to this there has been a huge impact on the livelihood and revenue of Hindus. The MNS said, 'Halal is a slow poison, eating Halal should not be compulsory for us. Because of that the rest of the religion should not have any problem. The Halal method of killing an animal is full of cruelty. In this, some nerves of the animal are cut and allowed to suffer. They read the Kalma while biting the animal facing Mecca.
MNS said, “In India 15% are Muslims, the rest are other religions which are shocked. But only Halal is sold, which people of other religions also have to eat forcibly. Halal certificate was also demanded from their side, but that was only for export. These organizations have now made it mandatory on every product by pressurizing them.
MNS said, 'Will write a letter to the Prime Minister that from where the money comes and where it goes, the Government of India should audit this matter.' Organizations like Jamiat-e-Ulema are putting pressure on making Halal products and due to Halal certificate, the cost is also high, due to which the revenue also increases but it goes to the organizations. These people support terrorists and do terror funding, they spend money for those against whom there are cases.
