Maharashtra News : Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari may resign
Earlier this month, Governor Koshyari had said at an event that he was unhappy after becoming the Governor and felt that he was not at the right place. He further said that he feels happy only when the Sannyasis come to the Raj Bhavan. It is known that Koshyari was appointed as the Governor of Maharashtra in September 2019.

Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari said on Monday that he wanted to be relieved of political responsibilities. "During Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit to Mumbai, I have conveyed to him my wish to be relieved of all political responsibilities and spend the rest of my life in reading, writing and other activities," he tweeted.
He said, "It has been an honor and a privilege for me to serve as a Rajya Sevak or Governor of a great state like Maharashtra, the land of saints, social reformers and heroic fighters." He said that I can never forget the love and affection I have received from the people of Maharashtra during the last three years. He further said that I have always received love and affection from PM Modi and I expect the same in this regard. It is known that PM Modi was in Mumbai on January 19 to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several infrastructure projects.
