Former Maharashtra minister and Shiv Sena's youth wing Yuva Sena chief Aaditya Thackeray has made a big claim on Monday. He claimed that soon the Eknath Shinde-led government in Maharashtra would fall.
During a four-day visit to the Konkan region, Aditya said on Monday that "betrayal is never tolerated in the state, so the Eknath Shinde-led government will surely fall." He said the focus of the Shinde government was only on 'dirty politics' and not on the welfare of the people. Attacking the Shinde government, Aaditya Thackeray said, "This whole political drama will go on for one-and-a-half months. The government will surely fall. Maharashtra does not tolerate betrayal.
He said the state received torrential rains and floods, but the government was not worried. It is worth noting that 40 Shiv Sena MLAs led by Shinde had revolted with Shiv Sena last month, due to which the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government was toppled.
This statement of Aaditya Thackeray has come at a time when the leader of his own faction and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has been arrested by the ED in the Patra Chawl scam. After which this statement of his has increased the stir in the politics of Maharashtra.
On the other hand, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Sunday took a jibe at the ED's action against Sanjay Raut and said, "When the investigation proceeds, what will happen in it, it will be known to all. Sanjay Raut (Sanjay Raut) Mahavikas is a big leader of Aghadi and used to tell the media every morning that he is not afraid. If he has not done anything wrong then what is he afraid of.
