Maharashtra News : 23 new cases of sub-variants B.4 and B.5 of Corona were found, total number reached 49
It was told in the BMC bulletin that 92 patients are admitted in hospitals in Mumbai. So far, a total of 10,72,963 patients have been cured while 12,043 are under treatment. So far 1,74,59,528 samples have been tested with 7733 tests in the last 24 hours.

In Maharashtra, 23 cases of corona virus sub-variants BA.4 and BA.5 have been reported on Saturday. With this, the number of these patients increased to 49. An official of the state health department gave this information. According to the report of Kasturba Hospital Central Laboratory, Mumbai, there are 17 BA.5 and six BA.4 patients in 23 cases. The reports of these patients have been analyzed at the National Institute of Virology, Pune.
The Health Department bulletin said that out of the 49 confirmed cases, 28 were from Mumbai, 15 from Pune, four from Nagpur and two from Thane. Between June 1 and June 18, 364 samples were tested in the Kasturba laboratory. On Saturday, 840 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Mumbai and three patients died.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that the total number of infected has reached 11,04,600 and the death toll has risen to 19,594. A day earlier there were 1898 cases of infection.
