Maharashtra Crisis: 'Thackeray camp' in trouble, shows aggressive stand on Shinde's Majority Claim
Shiv Sena accuses BJP of destabilizing the government, BJP denies all accusations

Maharashtra Crisis: The ongoing political crisis in Maharashtra deepened on Friday when the Shiv Sena alleged that a Union minister has "threatened" alliance leader NCP chief Sharad Pawar. However, the BJP has denied any role in the ongoing political crisis in Maharashtra. Along with this, the allegations have also been shrugged off, thereafter.
Shiv Sena's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut said, "He is the son of Maharashtra. They are threatening him. PM Modi and Amit Shah, have you heard? Your ministers are threatening Sharad Pawar - are you ready for such threats? Support? Maharashtra wants to know." Raut also downplayed the show of strength by the Eknath Shinde camp and said, "Their numbers are only on paper. Shiv Sena is a gigantic ocean, tiny waves come and go."
Raut further added, " We will win on the Floor of the House, we won't give up. They (MLAs) have taken a very wrong step. We also gave them a chance to return to Mumbai. Now, we challenge them to come to Mumbai."
However, amidst the ongoing political upheaval in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena's rebel leader Eknath Shinde claimed that he has the support of more than 50 MLAs. Of these, Shiv Sena has more than 37 MLAs. The minister in the Uddhav cabinet said, "Those who have faith in our role, who want to carry forward Balasaheb's ideology, whoever they like, will come with us."
The BJP however denied any role in the Political Crisis.On the matter however MoS Railways and BJP leader Raosaheb Patil Danve said, "No Central minister is giving threats. BJP is not trying to destabilize the government. This is an internal matter of the Shiv Sena. BJP is only in wait & watch position.
Shiv Sena spokesperson and MP Sanjay Raut tweeted, wherein he appealed to the rebel MLAs to resolve the matter through discussion. He wrote, “Discussions can lead the way. There can be a discussion. The doors of the house are open. Why does the forest wander? Let's decide with self-respect rather than slavery! Jai Maharashtra!”
