Now there are a total of 108 Omicron patients in the state. A total of 42 cases of the new variant have been found in the country today, taking the total number of patients to 404. Apart from Maharashtra, 8 people in Kerala, 13 people in Gujarat and a 27-year-old youth who returned from Ireland in West Bengal have been found Omicron positive.
According to the Maharashtra Health Ministry, out of the new patients found on Friday, 11 are from Mumbai, while 6 are residents of Pune. Apart from this, 2 patients have been found in Satara district and 1 in Ahmednagar. A total of 1410 corona patients have been found in the state on Friday, out of which 603 cases are from Mumbai. The Maharashtra government has ordered all people returning from Dubai to Mumbai to be in home quarantine for 7 days. Apart from this, the restrictions of Corona will also be implemented in the state from Friday night. Under this, there will be a ban on the gathering of more than 5 people at one place. Seven patients have been found in Vadodara, Gujarat, 3 in Kheda, 2 in Ahmedabad and one in Anand.
