Mahant Bajrang Muni arrested for threatening Muslim women with rape threats

Mahant Bajrang Muni, who threatened Muslim women with rape in Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh, has been arrested by the police. The UP Police had registered an FIR in this matter after 6 days. Muslim women staged a sit-in protest against the Mahant who openly gave hate speech.

The National Commission for Women had also taken cognizance of Mahant's speech. Chairperson of the Women's Commission Rekha Sharma wrote a letter to the Director General of Police of Uttar Pradesh to immediately intervene in the matter and register an FIR against Mahant.

This video of hate speech is going viral on social media for the last few days. In this, Mahant Bajrang Muni Das of Badi Sangat was seen giving hate speech in Khairabadi of Sitapur district. In the video, Mahant Bajrang Muni Das is seen using abusive language against Muslim women.
