Magnus Carlsen Roasts D. Gukesh Again: “Would Have Stayed Quiet for Gukesh Too”
The new-found rivalry between Magnus Carlsen and D Gukesh has been ever-present throughout this year and the Norwegian has thrown another jibe in the direction of the Indian GM in the latest development.

Magnus Carlsen Roasts D. Gukesh Again: The current chess world is turning into the new battle of D Gukesh and Magnus Carlsen. All this started way back when the Indian GM clinched the title of the new World Champion in December of last year, and Carlsen has spoken out against the standard of the contest against Ding Liren, where a huge slip-up actually made Gukesh emerge victorious.
Not that much later, Carlsen also said that Gukesh was still not at his level. Carlsen has also condemned Gukesh prior to the SuperUnited Rapid and Blitz tournament and described him as a weaker player in those events.

In Norway Chess, Gukesh also managed to beat Carlsen in one game to get his first classical victory over the Norwegian. Then he defeated Carlsen in the rapid game at Zagreb.
Magnus Carlsen burnt and burns D Gukesh
Carlsen is the player who is competing at the Esports World Cup chess. During the sidelines of the tournament, he got an intereactive session with the social media team of the competition. He was requested to be very silent until he got to hear the name of a chess player who was superior to him. Ironically, Carlsen was silent through the session even with the mention of the name of Bobby Fischer, but he only spoke with inclusion of Garry Kasparov.
They posted the video on Instagram and Carlsen did not forget to respond to the video and his victim was Gukesh again.
He commented, “Would have stayed quiet for Gukesh as well.”

Carlsen also lost to Gukesh at Norway Chess wherein he flung his table in anger and the pieces came off. The scene was shared on social media. He lost one of the rounds after beating Gukesh in the first round that opened the tournament.
Speaking after that defeat to Gukesh, he said, “Honestly, I am not enjoying playing chess at all right now. I don't feel any flow at all when I'm playing. I'm constantly constantly hesitating and it's just really poor right now."
Meanwhile, the Indian GM said, “Yes, beating Magnus is always special, for sure. I think this also gives a bit more confidence in a sense that, like, I just had a horrible position from the opening. I just mixed up something really bad. It's nice that, like, two losing positions in a row, I could win against Magnus.”
