On Wednesday, the police took the biggest action against Mafia Atiq Ahmed. The benami properties of Atiq Ahmed and his relatives worth Rs 1.28 crore were attached at Havelia in Jhunsi, Prayagraj. This action was taken under the gangster case registered against the mafia. Police say that Ateeq Ahmed had bought these properties with the money earned from the crime. Along with himself, he had got it done in the name of some relatives.

96 serious cases are registered against Mafia Atiq Ahmed in various police stations. Dhumanganj police has also taken action against him under gangster. The benami properties of Mafia Atiq are being attached for a long time. A few days back, the Dhumanganj police got information that Atiq Ahmed has several acres of land in Havelia located in Jhunsi. He has got this land done in the name of himself and some of his relatives. When the police collected information about it along with the revenue team, the information turned out to be correct. His report was prepared and sent to the District Magistrate. Permission was sought to attach the land. Two days ago the DM ordered attachment of the land.
