Madhuri Dixit's mother Snehlata Dixit passed away, said goodbye to the world at the age of 91

Madhuri Dixit's mother Snehlata Dixit passed away today at the age of 91. He breathed his last on Sunday, March 12 at his residence in Mumbai. His last rites will be performed today at 3 pm at the cremation ground in Worli. More details are awaited regarding the demise of Snehlata Dixit.

Last year, on her mother's 90th birthday, Madhuri Dixit penned a loving note on social media. "Happy birthday, everyone says a mother is a daughter's best friend. Everything you have done for me, everything you have taught is the greatest gift from you to me. I wish you only good health. Wishing you more happiness!' wrote Madhuri along with unseen pictures of her mother.

In 2013, Madhuri's mother joined her to record a song for 'Gulaab Gang'. Narrating the incident, filmmaker Anubhav Sinha told IANS, "When we approached Madhuri to sing in the film, she happily agreed to do so. When she came for the recording, she came with her mother and we learned that her mother is a very good singer. So we asked her mother if she could sing. Eventually, we asked both Madhuri and her mother to sing a song in the film.
